So if someone were to ask me my favorite songs i would list the typical top 10/ evergreen/ romantic numbers who no one hates, like Ashiqui songs (the Original one), or songs from Arth (Tum itna kyun muskuraa rahe ho...). No doubt these put a smile to everyone's face and one starts humming them at the mere mention of the first few lyrics.
BUT...the songs that go on and on behind my closed doors, the songs that I obsessively listen to the most are the obscure, forgotten or dismissed ones and the repeated listening to of which has now permanently tarnished my vote of approval.
However in an attempt to move past these allegations of poor taste and hard hearing... I am compiling my infinite playlist and trying to decipher the reason behind listening to these so obsessively. The answer is in the lyrics...i just so know it.
To Start off in chronological order, here is what I am currently listening to, of course in repeat mode. Found this beautiful song as a matter of chance. I have lumia 720 and i use the Nokia MixRadio mixes when i want to go off to sleep and will listen to anything. So, found this amazing Gurdas Mann number, and it was love at first sight or rather at first listening.
What the lyrics mean, am not too sure..i think its talking about people forgetting friends and busy in rat race... an emotion that is all too familiar in times today....well after such an intro...here it is:
